Description

Our Om Mani Tibetan Censer is imported from India. Made of copper with an antique finish and removable perforated lid.

Use with resins, smudge sticks, wood, incense sticks and cones.

To practice smudging around your home, on an object, or yourself:

• Clear your mind and set your intentions
• Open windows for ventilation and energy flow
• Using Om Mani Tibetan Censer or other fire safe vessel lined with sand, rocks, ash, or soil, place a lit charcoal tablet into the uncovered vessel.
• Place a few tears (bits) of resin on top of the lit coal. Alternatively, first grind up resin into a powder and sprinkle atop lit coal.
• Gently direct the smoke bath around the person, object or space needing cleansing using either a feather, fan, or your hand.
• Pray, meditate, recite your mantras or simply focus on the task at hand
• Relax as your mind, body, spirit, or space is purified of negative energy
• Return ashes to the earth, if possible.

Burning Incense Sticks: Fill censer with enough sand or rocks to properly hold upright your incense sticks.

Burning Incense Cones: Fill base of censer with sand or rocks. Place censer on ceramic coaster to protect counter top, as the base of the censer may get hot. Place lit incense cone on top of sand or rocks. Allow to burn with the lid removed. Incense will not burn with the lid in place.

Burning Resin & Charcoal: Fill base of censer with sand or rocks. Place censer on ceramic coaster to protect counter top, as the base of the censer may get hot. Follow instructions for lighting charcoal tablet then place on top of sand or rocks. Allow charcoal to come to temperature then place small amounts of resin onto hot charcoal. Allow to burn with the lid removed. Incense will not burn with the lid in place.

Keep out of reach of children, pets, and flammable material.

Never leave coals or resins burning unattended.

Allow charcoal to extinguish completely and cool for at least 2 hours before throwing away your ashes.

Store resin in an air tight container, away from moisture.
