LUSH Botanical Body Scrubs
Using only the finest ingredients nature has to offer— Grade A, unrefined, plant-based oils, certified organic botanicals, therapeutic grade essential oils, raw cane sugar, and mineral-rich Dead Sea salts, we have created two super enriched, glow boosting, MUST HAVE body scrubs — Sugar & Salt.
Our scrubs are suitable for all skin types and gentle enough for all over use. No artificial fragrances, alcohols, or chemicals, and all ingredients are earth friendly.
Exfoliate for Healthy Skin
Exfoliation using scrubs have been around for millennia. There are many types on the market, and not all are created equally. We opt for gentle, natural exfoliants using salt, a natural exfoliant, and sugar, a natural humectant.
The main benefit to exfoliating the skin is to remove dead skin cells that can clog pores, interfere with the skin’s natural oil production and protective barrier, and exacerbate inflammation and irritation.
We recommend using our body scrubs once or twice a week for optimal skin health. Exfoliating too often can lead to irritated, dry skin. Always avoid exfoliating irritated areas and open wounds.
It is best to exfoliate after cleansing, once the skin is clean and pores are open. Rinse skin thoroughly and pat dry, leaving skin damp, and immediately seal in moisture using our ultra moisturizing, vegan, cruelty free Bloom Body Cream, Blossom Body Butter or Divine Herbal Body Oil.

LUSH Botanical SUGAR Body Scrub
Lush Botanical Sugar Body Scrub is the gentler option of our two scrubs, as the sugar crystals are finer than salt crystals. Our Sugar scrub is safe for all skin types, is non-irritating, and can be used in sensitive areas like underarms and bikini lines. It’s also gentle enough for your face! The intoxicating and sensual fragrance of our Sugar scrub, achieved using only essential oils is a beautiful aroma of sweet florals with a hint of warm woodsy. This sugar scrub is similar in texture to sand near the shore of a fine sand beach. It is soft and powdery, and moldable like wet sand. Except, unlike wet sand, this sugar scrub gets its moisture from oats, coconut milk, and natural oils, lending it a luxurious texture we want to rub all over our body.
Fresh, Plant Powered Ingredients your Skin Will Love
The primary ingredient in this botanical exfoliant is raw cane sugar. Sugar is a natural humectant, meaning that it draws water into the skin, leaving it moisturized and with a dewy look and feel. Sugar has been used in body scrubs for hundreds of years and is proven to be very effective at removing dead skin cells without damage or irritation.
Sweet Almond oil, a rich emollient, has essential nutrients such as Vitamins A and E, omega-3 fatty acids and Zinc. Vitamin A has retinol, which stimulates the production of new skin and tones the skin. Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, prevents and repairs cell damage. Omega-3’s help to prevent and heal skin cell damage from environmental toxins and conditions and also helps prevent premature aging of the skin. Zinc has been shown to help with the healing of scars and can reduce the appearance of stretch marks. Sweet almond oil is non-irritating, light and safe for sensitive skin. Thanks to its antibacterial and antifungal properties, almond oil works well for acne-prone skin and to help treat skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
Coconut milk and oats are proven super hydrators of the skin. They also work to reduce inflammation. Like coconut oil, the milk from coconuts has many health promoting properties. When applied to the skin, the amino acids and enzymes in coconut milk remove dirt and debris from pores, and improves complexion. Coconut milk has antibacterial, antiseptic and antifungal properties.
The fat in coconut milk is excellent for retaining and replenishing moisture, making it the perfect addition for a body scrub. Oats are high in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, soothe irritations, provide moisture and contain saponins which help to cleanse and exfoliate the skin, and treat acne, eczema, psoriasis.

LUSH Botanical SALT Body & Foot Scrub
All Natural, Glow-Boosting Ingredients
Dead Sea salts are known since ancient times to have anti fungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial properties. Dead Sea salts contain 10 times more minerals than other sea salts. The minerals help to hydrate and retain skin moisture, detoxify the pores, promote skin growth, calm inflammation and irritation, and soothe sore muscles.
Salts, particularly Dead Sea salts are excellent exfoliants. They easily remove dead skin cells while the high mineral content cleanses, detoxes, and nourishes the skin.
Lush Botanical Salt Body & Foot Scrub features sweet almond oil, certified organic calendula and blue cornflower botanicals, and essential oils of sage and neroli, lending an invitingly bright and luscious, earthy, floral citrus aroma.
In comparison to the texture of our Sugar Body Scrub, our Salt scrub can be compared to mid-size sand you might find further away from the shoreline. It is the better option for a deeper exfoliation of the body, and more effective at removing stubborn, rough skin— like that of the foot and heel.
To use on the feet, simply rub a small amount into hands or onto a pumice stone, and rub in circular motions.

What’s the difference? Salt vs. Sugar
The main difference lies in the size of the salt and sugar crystals. Both scrubs will give your skin a gentle and effective exfoliation, cleanse and hydrate the skin.
The Salt scrub will give you a deep exfoliation with minimal effort. The bigger crystals hold up longer while being rubbed on. Added moisture and nutrients reveal cleansed, baby-soft and nourished skin you’ll want to show off.
The Sugar scrub is designed to be a gentler scrub since the crystals are smaller. The oats and coconut milk combine to create a softer texture and cleanse, soothe and hydrate, leaving you a supple smoothness you can’t deny.
Pick your poison! Or love them both 🙂 We do!
